Ruth Hardinger

Biography

Hardinger graduated with BA in Classical Studies, Hunter College, NYC.  Her work has been exhibited recently at Brian Morris Gallery, Cooper Union, Creon, Sideshow, Masters and Pelavin, Lesley Heller Gallery, Van Deb, Kentler Fine Art, Islip Museum and Carriage House, and Exit Art. She received an IIE Fulbright Grant to Mexico, for art.  Her art/ environment projects include the Marfa Dialogue/NY sponsored by Cooper Union/Institute of Sustainable Design, and a project of hers was accepted in the NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship Program. The Museum of Modern Art Library, Artist Book Collection, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Edward Albee Foundation, are among public and private collections of her art. She is on the Board of Directors for Franklin Furnace and the Board of Directors and Steering Committee for Damascus Citizens for Sustainability.
